I am moving to Peckham in two weeks!! Here is a pic of Lewis in Peckham with a palm tree to celebrate, I believe I will also have a palm tree in my garden (not as good as this one though).
I am leaving Falmouth on Saturday so here is my last Falmouth photobooth pic (hopefully.) Today I bought “Down and Out in Paris and London” because I am moving to London in July so I am looking for some advice on being poor in a city, if you have any please let me know.
Anonymous asked: what's your fave thing about taking pics?
My fave thing(s) about it is talking to people I would never get the opportunity to talk with otherwise, a recent example would be Richard Reynolds who was very interesting and sweet. It’s a good reason for me to approach people, whether it’s just because I find them nice to look at or interesting and it also helps me remember the things I’ve done which is always useful.
Anonymous asked: hey! do you have any tips for travelling light/low budget/ sort of backpacking? also cheap, cool things in Paris/Berlin/Prague? you seem well traveled! thanks! xoxo
I normally travel on just hand luggage so there is my first tip, you really don’t need very much stuff! As long as you have enough underwear it’s all ok. Bring 1/2 books depending on the length of your flight because hopefully you won’t spend too much time reading them. Paris is easy to just walk around and find things, I like it around the Louvre, so I would recommend doing that. And I would go to the Marais because there was A LOT of food I liked the look of around there and some cute shops. If you like photography go to Paris for Paris Photo! If you go to Berlin go to the Bird and buy a lot of €1 vodka and €3 film, I did a lil answer about Berlin here. Sadly I have never been to Prague! But I would like to go soon so maybe ask me in a year or so. PS My cameras always break/run out of batteries on holidays so bring a little point and shoot + spare batteries!
Field Day.
Today I started packing to leave Falmouth, sat on my roof for 2 hours and got really burnt and made a LinkedIn so I can feel a bit professional/stalk professionals.
Here’s a test zine I made that I may/may not get printed depending on whether my bank balance miraculously raises from £11.
Yesterday I went to Field Day and did some very unprofessional things like waving at my friends from the stage whilst they were swearing at me and running out of batteries on both my cameras and now I’m very scared about what I’m going to get back but it’s all ok because here is a pic from on stage with Solange and Dev!
